​You have reached the home page of Kynoch Chess Club



Kynoch Chess Club has been running for over 60 years and its earliest sucess in the BDCL came with an individual trophy for D J Youston in 1949. Kynoch won the league in 1964 and also in 1968. Kynoch went through a sucessful spell in the eighties with when they won the League from 1981 to 1985, this has only been repeated once by South Birmingham A from 2006 to 2010.

Kynoch are hoping to return to the top flight after suffering relegation recently.
